Waggoner Mare in a pedigree actually means it could have been anyone of hundreds of mares the Waggoner Ranch used for breeding back in the day.
Since a lot of PSSM horses seem to trace back to the Waggoner Ranch we felt it relevant to enter the foals listed on the Waggoner Mare AQHA report (there are 752 of them) and try to find info as many of them as possible.
This is a long never ending project. We take the horse foal with Waggoner Mare named as the mother and look up the owner report and what state it came from and note that on the file. Not sure how useful this is at this time and we only work on this project when we have nothing else to do.
