We have had to come up with some ideas to try to get info to those who want it while trying to keep everyone happy. We realize monetizing some of our features likely does not fall under the category of keeping everyone happy but it will do two things, one it will keep those who only want to cause trouble from accessing areas of the site that previously they used to promote negative discussions in some facebook groups, but it also will provide some income for Bridge to keep providing services.
After three years of free information provided from approx. 9000 man hours to date (that is only my time and doesn't include the many hours others have worked to provide verifiable info, nor the two years of buidling the database that I put into the database before I started the website) we are in need of some financial support to be able to continue - we hope the nominal fees we have chosen to use will do both services - keep out the naysayers and provide a modest income for our efforts.
We have tried to keep the fees very low so everyone can afford them.
We will still from time to time give out free reports on the facebook PSSM Forum group but those will be on an "as we have time basis" and those who pay for their reports will get first service.
Also, if you and your horse have been helped by BRIDGE in the past please consider giving a short testimonial by clicking the "BRIDGE has helped me/adda testimonial" link on the right side of this page. (you may need to scroll down to see it).
Thank You for your patience.

To take a good usable hair sample for DNA testing you need:
Plastic Ziploc bag - (snack size works well)
Piece of clean blank white paper
Downloaded Order Form fromt he Lab you will be using
1.) Fold the paper to make an envelope that fits inside your ziploc - write your name and the Reg name of your horse on the outside of the Paper Envelope.
2.) Take the Ziploc and the paper envelope and go to your horse.
3.) Wrap about 25-35 mane (tail for a foal) around your finger and hold on tight.
4.) Give a very fast, firm, sharp downward tug/yank. This will remove the hair by the roots.
5.) Carefully, without touching the roots (the little bulbs on the ends of the hair) to anything else, put the hairs inside your folded paper.
6.) Put the paper in the Ziploc.
7.) Fill out your order form and put it and your Ziplocked hair sample in another envelope and wirtie the address from the order form on your envelope.
8.) Mail to the Lab.
